TWO TEARS IN A BUCKET
From the very first moment Nathan Slyde Petersen and Michelle Fitness met on stage at a jam they knew they had something special together. Intuitively they blend to make magic musical moments, playing off each other with a depth of understanding to match any of the great music partnerships.
Over the last 3 years they have played and toured from Central Queensland to Central Victoria. .
In 2017 they recorded their "Debut EP" at Old Dog Studios in Corndale, NSW.
Nathan Petersen is a journeyman songwriter. His street kid punk roots blend with his respect and understanding of traditional blues and roots, add to this an astounding talent for the slide guitar and a growing talent for many other stringed instruments and you have the makings of an upcoming great Australian street poet / songsmith……Nathan sings and writes about what he knows best….surviving on the edge and having a damn fine time doing it
Michelle Fitness is a songbird story teller, who can get inside the lyrics to bring out an interpretation straight from her own soul…..from gutsy to fragile, Michelle can conjure the full range of human emotion with a mighty vocal talent.
Michelle has a long and versatile history on the Australian regional music scene playing every genre imaginable...
“I love well written songs with good words that have an authenticity to them, no matter the genre, just a true mirror of the archetypal human soul, from ballsy to broken”.
